This is a Santa Fe area hike.
In fact, it could be argued that this is the most popular Santa Fe area hike, especially in Fall..when the sun and the golden leaves are amazing ..literally almost blinding!
To get there..simply take the Ski Basin Road 9/10's of the way up to Santa Fe Ski Basin and look for the significant parking area on your right, with toilets and picnic sites.

<October 2008You can hike in 2 miles or 5 or whatever..but be very aware that you're as high as 12,000 ft elevation and that elevation sickness happens! You'll see people on this hike.
