I took the haunting photograph, below, just after sunset a few years ago. It is Cerro Pedernal, New Mexico's famous flat topped mountain ..immortalized by Georgia O'Keeffe. She loved it, painted it many times ..and her ashes spread from it upon her death. We get hundreds of sunsets just like that one ..every year!
