Spanish Market – July 24 & 25, 2010Santa Fe’s Spanish Market is the largest exhibition of
traditional Hispanic Arts in the United States. Every year residents and
visitors alike enjoy the market’s ambiance of the vibrant and rich Spanish
culture, over 400 years old and still present in northern New Mexico. It’s held
in downtown Santa Fe.

On the Plaza and surrounding streets, over 200 local artists
showcase handmade traditional objects that range from furniture, tin and
ironwork, weaving, woodcarving to precious metals, basketry and painted bultos.
Many of the artists are working on a piece of art on the spot which gives the
visitor the opportunity to observe how the art is created. Live music, dances
and regional food complete this wonderful event not to be missed!
